Hi Emily:
Great job, The stories are so moving. I am amazed how cruel human beings have become in the name of money. Oh well
Hi Emily,
I am researching cultural issues in birth for some training I’m doing at the end of the month. I have launched a doula program in one of the most culturally diverse areas of Toronto. Though, like most Canadians, I am a bit of a cultural mix myself, I have little to no knowledge of the most common ethnic groups representing the women that will give birth in this hospital.
I came about a post of yours discussing the importance of nurses being able to consider this important aspect of client care.
I was wondering if you might actually have any documents or links that would lead me to some common considerations we should be aware of. Most spoken languages at this hospital are Cantonese, Tamil, Punjabi.
So new to me and yet I really need to give my doula team some ideas of what to expect.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Emily greetings from India. I find your blog inteersting and inspirational. Its great to know you did a stint in Ghana to study an emotive subject such as slavery. Please do read a guest article on Ghana written by my MBA student. Your comments will be precious to us.
With kind regards!

Hi Emily,
I found your blog while I was searching for information on traveling to Peru with a little one. I am hoping to book a trip for my family this August, and we will be bringing my 18 month old daughter. Do you have any suggestions for travel? Do you mind sharing your trip itinerary or any sort of tour company that you used? I sincerely appreciate any help you can lend, there is a lot of noise out there about leaving the baby at home
.
Feel free to email me: dawn.e.gill@gmail.com
Thanks so much for your blog!
